Beginning an estate and elder plan is an important and serious undertaking, and because of that, we do all we can to make it easy and convenient for you. Within approximately 4-6 weeks, you can have a plan in place that will protect you and your family against any eventuality, even the worst.
At Piede Law, LLP, we strive to be as comprehensive, efficient, and compassionate as possible with all of our estate planning and elder law clients. All new clients begin with an initial consultation during which we discuss what would happen to you and your family given the planning you currently have in place and the type of plan that you would like to have. If there is a conflict between your current and desired plan, and we each feel that our working relationship is a good fit, we can often design your new plan in that same meeting.
Currently, we offer three levels of estate and elder law planning, and will work with you to help you determine which planning level is best for your family. Our fees begin at $595, and are all-inclusive. There are no surprise bills in the mail, and we work together to develop exactly the plan that you want that will give you both financial security and peace of mind. If you do not believe that the benefits you receive with us far outweigh the costs, there is no obligation.
Depending on the level of planning you choose and the complexity of your particular situation, it may be necessary to have a second planning meeting. Once you feel that your plan is designed the way you would like it, you will return to our office approximately four to six weeks later to sign your documents. At this point, you family will be totally protected in the worst case scenario of death or incapacity, and prepared for the eventuality of long-term care.
Many lawyers consider this the end of the road. But at Piede Law, LLP we see the signing of these documents as the beginning of our relationship with you and your family. Laws change, your assets change, and in response you plan will need to change. We will communicate with you as time goes on to ensure your plan continues to reflect your wishes. We offer a review of your plan every three years at no additional charge to you.
